Folic Up provides 400 µg of folic acid in one daily tablet. Folate contributes to normal blood formation and to the process of cell division.
Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status; low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The beneficial effect is obtained with 400 µg daily for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Available in packs of 30 and 60 tablets.
